*********************************************************************************** Yes, I know, I'm a mess. I create a blog, and don’t write anything. In my defense I have to say that not only have I started a new job, also this job has Internet restrictions, so I'm somewhat less informed and less connected than usual. There are also zillions thousand things I could talk about... Children that die because their parents are too busy raising a virtual baby (keep that in mind Farmville fans, would it not be better to buy a real plant?)... I could talk about the fashion week in Paris, where not only Alexander McQueen was sorely missed, but also some sense (seriously, who's going to wear those things? And where are those models with curves and normal bodies like they promised? I’ll talk about this in another post)... I could talk about this wave of earthquakes in the world that scares the heck out of me, and what scares me more is that even with all this happening, the front page news is about football ... I could speak of the dreadful weather we're having, but it would be too cliché ... So I'll talk about two little things. The first is that last Saturday I finally went to a performance of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, done by Dramakuin, they are wonderful and hilarious. We were quite a few and we had great time. For 12 euros we got the ticket, participation kit and a soda or beer. We danced, sang and laughed, and it was a bomb. The gentle giant refused to come: (but it was his loss HAHAHAHA!) Unfortunately I have no pictures, my camera is dead. Let's see if one appears on my birthday (wink wink)… The second is a small culinary review. Nush (The Russian Bombshell) and I discovered, right in front of the club YA'STA a Mexican restaurant called La Barriga Llena, which belongs to the chain(?) La Panza es lo Primero. I loved the food (yes, Nano, it wasn’t hot enough, I know), the decor and atmosphere. My only tiny complaint was that the service was a little confused; we had to order our beer about 4 times. But the place I like and it has given me many ideas for a photo session... Now I would like to make special mention to friends. To those friends who, although thousands of miles away, suddenly remember you and let you know. To friends who call you the first day of your new job, not only to congratulate you, but to rejoice that you're close by and that you can even have lunch together. The friends you spends thousand hours on the phone with, without even noticing (yes, that is you Nikita!). And I also want to mention another kind of friend. Those ones you consider friends because you’ve known them forever, even though you don’t have anything in common anymore and you don’t even like each other that much. The ones who take advantage of your trust, and only call when they want something. The ones who care more what they want from you and not what you want from your life. THESE ARE NOT FRIENDS. Throw away those burdens!! Free yourself! They only drag us down with them... And as a gift, one of my favorite comics
